Skype for Windows Mobile 3.0 coming…

SkypeforWinMobile2_5.200px Skype Blogger Peter Parkes has written about the Gold release of Skype for Windows 2.5. This version provides an improved user experience for Skype calling and chat messages. Click on the image to download.

But Skype is also previewing the first beta of Skype for Windows mobile 3.0, adding file transfer and SMS messaging, at Mobile World Congress in Barcelona this week.

Question: which of these versions will be supporting the Skype panel on the Sony Ericsson Xperia X1 announced today?
